Just one dose every 3 months

Redemplo comes in a 25-mg pre-filled syringe that you self-inject just once every 3 monthsIf you miss a dose, take your Redemplo injection as soon as possible. Stick to your 3-month dosing schedule from the date of your last injection.

Remember

It’s important for you to inject Redemplo every 3 months. Mark your next dose on a calendar 3 months from your previous dose.

How to store Redemplo

You can keep Redemplo in its original carton in the refrigerator (between 36 °F and 46 °F) until it’s ready to be used or at room temperature (between 68 °F and 77 °F) for up to 30 days. If Redemplo has been stored in the refrigerator, wait 30 minutes after taking it out before using. Never speed up the process by heating the syringe.

It’s important to stay on a low-fat diet (less than or equal to 20 grams of fat per day) while you're taking Redemplo. If your healthcare provider has prescribed you other lipid-lowering medications in addition to Redemplo, continue taking them unless your provider tells you otherwise

Indication

REDEMPLO® (plozasiran) is an injectable prescription medicine used together with a low-fat diet to reduce triglycerides (fat in the blood) in adults with a condition that keeps the body from breaking down fats called familial chylomicronemia syndrome (FCS).

Important Safety Information

Before you start using REDEMPLO, tell your healthcare provider about all your medical conditions, including if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed. It is not known if REDEMPLO could harm your unborn baby, or if it passes into your breast milk and could harm your breastfeeding baby.

Tell your healthcare provider or pharmacist about any prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, or herbal supplements you take.

What are the possible side effects of REDEMPLO?

The most common side effects of REDEMPLO include increased blood sugar levels, headache, nausea, and injection site reactions (pain, redness, or swelling).

These are not all the possible side effects of REDEMPLO. Tell your healthcare provider or treatment team if you have any side effect that bothers you or that does not go away.
